Directions

• From the North

  Take I-95 S/Rt-128 South. Take exit 22-21B for Rt-16 West toward Wellesley. Turn right at Rt-16/Washington Street. The Wellesley Community Center is approximately 1.3 miles on the right.

  Note: As you approach the intersection of Routes 16 and 9, you must be in the right lane. The entrance to the Wellesley Community Center's driveway is a fairly narrow hard right turn about 20 feet before the right turn onto the Route 9 westbound on-ramp. If you accidentally turn onto the on-ramp, go about 1/4 mile on Route 9 and get off at the first exit, Cliff Road. Go left at the bottom of the off-ramp and it will take you back to Route 16.

• From the East

  Take Rt 9 West to the Rt 16 exit in Wellesley. Stay in right lane of exit roadway and proceed to the traffic light at the end. This is Rt 16. The entrance driveway to the Wellesley Community Center is directly across Rt 16.

• From the South

  Take I-95/Rt 128 North to Exit 20B (which is Rt 9 West). Proceed approximately 2.5 miles to the Rt 16 exit. Turn right at Rt-16/Washington Street. The Wellesley Community Center is approximately 1.3 miles on the right.

• From the West

  Take Rt 9 East to the Rt 16 exit (There is a light at this intersection). Proceed a short block and turn left onto Rt 16 West. The Wellesley Community Center is approximately 0.1 miles on the left, immediately after the light at the Rt 9 exit /entrance roadways. Note: The left turn into the driveway of the Wellesley Community Center is a very difficult one due to the traffic. It is recommended that you proceed past the Community Center (the Wellesley Branch Library is on your right) and follow the signs to the Community Center by taking the first right (onto Grantland Road), and then another sharp right at the end of Grantland onto the Rt 9 exit roadway to Rt 16, and thence to the exit roadway's end where there is a light permitting safe crossing of Rt 16 directly into the Community Center's driveway.
